rebooting the system. This will ensure the patch file is completely processed.
3. The system must be rebooted twice for the patch to be effective using the following st eps.
4. Please select "Shut Down" and then "Reboot System" on the Fiery LCD. When
the Fiery has come to "Idle", repeat the steps to reboot the system.
5. Please wait until the Fiery has come to idle after the second reboot to print out the configuration page.
Verify the Update Info section. It should contain the patch number "1-HS9CF".

NOTE:
When downloading the text files with using Command Work Station or Downloader,
the PCL settings may not reflect to the printing result.

Patch Installation Steps:
1. Download/Import the patch file “1-D17SB.ps” with either Fiery Downloader or
Command Workstation to the “Direct” queue.
2. You must wait at least 60 seconds after the patch file downloaded/imported before
rebooting the system. This will ensure the patch file is completely processed.
3. The system must be rebooted. Please select “Shut Down” and then “Reboot
System” on the Fiery LCD. Please wait until the Fiery has come to “Idle”.
4. Please print the “Configuration” page.
5. Go to Fiery Setup on the LCD screen. Please select “Run Setup”. Once in the
Setup menu please scroll to “Factory Defaults” and press the corresponding arrow.
At the message “Reset Server to Factory Settings?” use the arrow keys to change
the setting to “Yes” and select “OK”.
6. Please go through the Fiery Setup to enter the settings found on the
“Configuration” page.
7. Please wait until the Fiery has returned to “Idle” status before the patch is
effective.

Demo password for "GA features set" expires in 3 days instead of 30.

This message displays even when the guide is set correctly if there is no paper on the
manual feed tray, some customer think an error occurs, and leads to the customer's
distrust of the product.

"Controller detail" button does not appear on the engine remote panel. No reply when
pinging the print controller. This patch is for print controllers using the AppleTalk
protocol.

On some AppleTalk networks, on the copier, the controller detail buttons does not
appear. This does not happen on all AppleTalk networks.

If users don't use or disable AppleTalk this problem doesn't occur.
This only occurs in a particular faulty AppleTalk network. The high frequency of NBP Request
packets is very unusual and that is not seen on a normal network.
